Software
Software A complete ecosystem for developing, integrating, and deploying 4D imaging radar.
Start with a deployment-ready 4D point cloud, build perception with modular software toolboxes, or access the radar at a deeper level with expert development tools.
Customers without prior experience in radar can leverage Zadar expertise to deploy a complete application-ready solution built on our innovative platform.
How deep you go
Not every team needs to become a radar expert.
Our software is designed to support different levels of development. Teams can begin with RSP Core and integrate industry-leading 4D point clouds directly into their system. Teams developing their own perception can build on RDP Developer, while advanced customers who need access to raw radar data and full control of the sensing architecture can use RSP Studio.
RSP Core
Radar configuration and signal processing are handled by Zadar. You receive calibrated, production-ready 4D point clouds through stable interfaces — and spend your time on the application, not on radar processing.
Deployment-ready 4D point clouds.
RSP Core is the standard software layer for Zadar imaging radar and the starting point for most customers. It provides calibrated, production-ready 4D point clouds with range, velocity, azimuth, elevation, and signal information through stable interfaces designed for integration into robotics, autonomous machines, infrastructure, and industrial systems.
The radar configuration and signal processing are handled by Zadar so developers can focus on the applications they are building rather than the details of radar processing. RSP Core provides validated sensing modes and a consistent data interface across the Zadar hardware portfolio.

- Range, velocity, azimuth, elevation and signal information
- Validated sensing modes
- Consistent data interface across the Zadar hardware portfolio
- Compatible with all operating systems
- Examples in Python, C++, ROS 1 and ROS 2
Build advanced radar perception.
RDP Developer builds on RSP Core with perception capabilities designed specifically for 4D imaging radar. It gives robotics and autonomy teams a set of modular software components that can be incorporated into their own perception architecture while allowing them to retain control of the larger system.
These components are developed around the characteristics of imaging radar and are designed to help teams move more quickly from radar detections to useful environmental understanding.

Full access to the radar sensing platform.
RSP Studio is Zadar's advanced radar development environment for customers who need direct access to the sensing architecture itself. It is intended for radar experts, research teams, and advanced development programs that require significantly more control than a production point-cloud interface provides.
This level of access allows advanced teams to develop specialized sensing modes, investigate new radar techniques, optimize performance around unusual requirements, and conduct research that would not be possible through a fixed production interface.

In action
What the point cloud actually looks like.
Recorded from Zadar 4D imaging radar in real environments — no simulation, no staged corner reflectors. This is the data RSP Core delivers and what RDP Developer builds perception on top of.
Zadar Solutions
Complete perception systems built for real applications.
Zadar Solutions combine our imaging radar hardware, RSP software, and RDP perception technology into complete systems designed around specific operational problems. Each solution packages sensing, perception, application logic, and system integration into a deployable product, allowing customers to adopt radar at the application level rather than building the full perception stack themselves.
Our solutions are built on the same radar and software platform available through RSP Core and RDP Developer, with application-specific algorithms and workflows developed for each market.
FleetGuard
360° safety and awareness around industrial machines
FleetGuard provides continuous perception around heavy equipment, autonomous machines, and industrial vehicles to help detect people, vehicles, and other hazards in the surrounding environment.
Using Zadar 4D imaging radar and application-specific perception, FleetGuard delivers reliable detection and tracking across difficult operating conditions including darkness, dust, rain, glare, and visually cluttered environments. The system can support operator warnings, safety zones, collision avoidance, and integration with machine-control systems.

Passenger counting and occupancy intelligence for vehicles
OccupancyIQ provides reliable passenger counting and occupancy monitoring for buses, trains, shuttles, and other shared transportation systems.
Radar-based sensing enables accurate operation across changing lighting conditions while preserving passenger privacy. The system can support entry and exit counting, real-time occupancy, passenger flow analysis, and operational analytics without relying on identifiable camera imagery.
Explore OccupancyIQMaterialFlow
Radar perception for material monitoring and automated handling
MaterialFlow uses 4D imaging radar to measure, track, and understand bulk material during loading, unloading, transfer, and machine operation.
The system can monitor material position, volume, flow, and surrounding geometry while providing perception inputs for automated or robotic actuation. Radar enables reliable operation around dust, debris, darkness, and other conditions common in agriculture, mining, construction, and industrial material handling.
Explore MaterialFlowFusionCue
Radar-guided camera control and multi-sensor perception
FusionCue combines 4D imaging radar with visual sensing to provide intelligent PTZ camera cueing and deeper multi-sensor perception.
Radar continuously detects and tracks objects across a wide field of view, allowing cameras to be directed toward relevant targets without relying on visual detection alone. Radar and camera data can also be fused at the perception level to improve tracking, classification, and environmental understanding.

One foundation, however much of the stack you build.
Zadar Solutions build on the same hardware, RSP, and RDP technologies used by developers across our product portfolio. This common foundation allows us to combine proven radar sensing with application-specific perception and integration while continuing to improve the underlying platform across multiple markets.
Customers can adopt a complete Zadar Solution, integrate individual RDP capabilities into their own system, or build directly on Zadar 4D radar data depending on how much of the perception stack they want to develop internally.
Zadar SDIR sensor platform benefits
-
Super-resolution imaging
Based on optical super-resolution microscopy techniques, our novel beamforming framework achieves angular resolution beyond aperture diffraction limits.
-
Action potential neural detector
Our detector is not like CFAR or other classic thresholding techniques. Our neural algorithm detects true targets with sensitivity and confidence.
-
4D Porcessing Engine
Conventional processing steps have been reengineered into a unified processing engine to improve resolution and dynamic range.
-
Dynamic intrinsic calibration
High resolution and excellent calibration go hand-in-hand for accurate results. Our normalizer dramatically improves calibration accuracy.

Our zVUE Radar Operating System works with all 4D radar sensors in Partial SDIR mode. Its connected radar fusion, data conditioning, and radar preperception libraries immediately boost system performance on any platform. The full performance of radar can only be achieved by combining zVUE with Zadar radar sensors in Full-Stack SDIR mode.
-
Our solid-state radar platforms are automotive-grade and are designed for use in harsh, low-maintenance environments.
-
No, commercial 60 and 77GHz radars have been used safely for a long time. Our radar technology is not like military or marine radar. It is a low-power, surface-reflecting sensing technology and manufacturers follow strict transmit power limits. Our excellent detection range comes from highly sensitive detectors and SDIR system optimization, not from high transmit power.
-
Susceptibility to radar-radar interference is one of the core problems that SDIR solves. In our architecture, improving detection performance and increasing interference resistance go hand-in-hand. SDIR integrates several in-house innovations including RFTDMA modulation, action potential-based detection, and AI denoising that make interference a non-issue.
