zPULSE 2.0

Compact, high-resolution 4D software-defined imaging radar with 120° × 90° field of view

Active · Available to order4D imaging radarSDIR platform

Overview

zPULSE 2.0 is a compact, energy-efficient 76–81 GHz imaging radar that produces dense 4D point clouds for safety, perception, mapping and navigation. Built on Zadar's SDIR platform, it delivers 0.7° static angular resolution and >650 m truck detection across a 120° × 90° field of view in a 250 g package.

Solid-state and IP68-sealed, it keeps working in rain, fog, dust and snow with low maintenance, and it is hardware- and software-compatible with zPRIME 3.0, outputting real-time point cloud, object list and RCS data.

Features

  • 120° × 90° field of view
  • 0.7° × 3.2° static angular resolution, ±0.05° angular accuracy
  • >650 m truck, >350 m car, >140 m human detection
  • 40 ms frame time (25 Hz), 118 dB dynamic range
  • 10 W power consumption, 1000BASE-T1 interface
  • IP68 (2 m), −40 to 85 °C, MTBF >150,000 hours
  • zPULSE 2.0 radar sensor
  • RSP Core software: point cloud, object list and RCS output
  • Configuration and radar data APIs
  • SDKs for C++, Python, ROS 1 and ROS 2
